There is a solution

Cocaine Anonymous®

We're Here and We're Free

Cocaine Anonymous welcomes anyone with a drug and/or alcohol problem and offers a solution.

The only purpose of Cocaine Anonymous is to offer recovery to individuals who are suffering from addiction. Our experience has shown that the most effective way to attain and maintain sobriety is to work with others suffering from the same malady.

For anyone who wants to stop

C.A. offers a solution to addiction to cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.

Do you have a problem with drugs or alcohol?
So did we.

Cocaine Anonymous is a global fellowship of recovering addicts. The essence of C.A. is the spiritual concept of one addict helping another. Newcomers are encouraged to seek temporary sponsorship and to attend meetings regularly.

We use the Twelve-Step recovery program because it has already been proven that the Twelve-Step recovery program works.

How recovery works
in C.A.

A sponsor is a recovering addict who shares one-on-one how to maintain sobriety by working the Twelve Steps of C.A.

A sponsor’s primary tools are his or her own experience, strength and hope. The Steps can seem like a foreign language at first, but a sponsor can help us understand this new way of living and explain how each Step brings us closer to a Higher Power that can remove our obsession to use.

Cocaine and all mind altering substances

C.A. is not drug‑specific. It doesn’t matter what drugs or alcohol people have used; we welcome anyone with a desire to stop.

While our name might suggest we focus solely on cocaine, we address addiction to all mind-altering substances. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.

There are meetings everyday, everywhere.

Cocaine Anonymous is a global fellowship of recovering addicts whose members meet in local groups as well as via the Internet. We share our experience, strength and hope so that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from addiction.

We have thousands of meetings across the world

Some meetings are marked as "open". Meetings of this type are open to anyone: addicts, their families, friends, or anyone else interested in solving a personal drug problem.

We have meetings in over 30 countries

testimonials

Hear from our members

“I couldn’t stop until my whole paycheck was gone. I promised myself that next week it would be different - ‘I’ll only do one’ - but one turned into two, two turned into three, and before I knew it, I was promising myself again: ‘Next week it will be different … ’ "

“I had it all—a good job, a loving wife and family, everything I ever wanted and WHAM! It was all gone in a matter of weeks.”

I knew it was killing the baby growing inside me, but I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t stop and then it was too late and I still couldn’t stop.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions and answers

C.A. is spiritual but not religious, and members are free to define their spirituality as they see fit. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to believe that a Power greater than yourself can help.

The essence of C.A. is one addict helping another. Sponsors act as mentors through the Twelve Steps, and meetings give newcomers a place to find the fellowship and answers they seek. All CA Pamphlets

A sponsor is another recovering addict with more sobriety and program experience who helps you work the Steps. We suggest you start looking for a sponsor right away.

If addicts who relapse are fortunate enough to return and look at what happened, they often find they stopped practising these principles. No matter what happens, keep coming back.

We absolutely insist on enjoying life. Fellowship events, meetings after the meeting, and conventions show us how to have fun in recovery.
